Hey Everyone! Im sorry I have been absent from this blog and site for a while. Things have been very busy lately!!

I will try to post things as soon as I can.

But heres something interesting I found today:

I was in Staples and was looking around and saw this: a shoe tape dispenser. Its very cool. Its only $9.99. Is that a good price??

Heres what they look like:

Hey everyone, how's it going?
I've decided to make a weekly blog called "Funky Shoe Friday".
Every week will have a theme, and since Wednesday was the first day of summer, this weeks theme will be on funky summer shoes.

Well during summer everyone loves to enjoy the sweet delicious fruit that comes alone with it, why not spread your love of summer friut by wearing these banana shoes?

Picture
Also with summer comes summer vacation. If you have young kids who play with LEGO, why not let them glue them to a pair of your shoes and wear them out?

These shoes a perfect in many ways:
  1. You can wear them going out with the girls on ladies night.
  2. They can amp up any simple look.
  3. They protect you, those nice spikes will ad an extra ouch if you kick anyone with them.

These are from the new D&G 2012 collection.
They are pretty funky and unique, perfect to add some pop to any outfit.

Next week will be a different theme, I still haven't thought of it yet.

Have any suggestions to a theme? Leave it in the comments section :)

Yes there are many many many websites where you can purchase shoes. From department store websites to shoe store websites. But this blog post is about websites where you purchase them offline and there are no stores for them.
Picture
The first one is shoedazzle.com

This is actually a personalized shoe site. When you make an account with them, you go through a style quiz type thing, where they will give you certain looks and you choose which one is most like your style. Every month they will email you with your own personal collection of shoes, jewelry and handbags, and at the end of each month, they email you asking if you want to make requests for next months collection for you.

None of these shoes you can find anywhere else but this site, no outside shoe, handbag or jewelry designer is put in this site.

You can also browse through the rest of the site and see what else they have, and you can favorite items too.

EVERYTHING is $39.95. You get a 20% discount off your first purchase, and you receive points for everything you buy. After you accumulate enough points, you get a free pair of shoes.

The second one is justfab.com

The same thing happens just like at Shoedazzle: you get a style quiz to see what shoes they should put in your own personal collection. Justfab is different from shoedazzle because they bring in other designers' shoes and list them at cheaper prices.

Justfab has more of a selection than shoedazzle because they advertise other shoe designers, and have specific designers just for Justfab.

The last one (and a personal favorite) is heels.com

You can find this through justfab.com. Now this is different from Justfab and Shoedazzle because this isn't a personalized site. This sells all kinds of brands of heels. You can narrow down your search to specifics that you want (ex: price, size, type of heel, heel height, designer, color, etc etc.)

So have you joined any of these sites? Do you like how they are? Will you sign up for these sites after reading this blog? Leave you responses in the comments section :)

Are you a sporty girl? Are you also a glam girl too? Well why not mix both worlds together by wearing sneaker wedges?

Do you like this new trend of mixing sneakers with the wedge style?

Picture
Now these may be cool shoes, but they are not so cool to your wallet if you are on a budget or don't like spending much money on shoes.

These ones by Marc Jacobs will cost you $320......Ouch! (God Bless You if you don't find than an ouch)

Picture
If you don't want to spend much money, you can opt for Blink's sneaker wedges for about $80. Yes it's still a bit pricey, but way better than dishing out $320.

I think this is a nice shoe idea. I am a very sporty and glam girl, and this is perfect for me if I want to flaunt a little bit of both when I go out.

What's your take on these shoes? Discuss in the comments.

I've seen this many times throughout the internet, and even in some shoe stores. I can't even imagine these are actually walk able. Would you ever spend money on this type of shoe and wear them out?
I also have no idea on how these actually work. In my mind wouldn't you topple over because there is no support in the back of the shoe and they are so high too?

Picture
And look at this one. This one is actually confusing to me. Why make a heel on the shoe if it serves no purpose?

Picture
So all and all, would you buy shoes like these? And if you've ever bought them, whats walking in them like?
